Summary: Ed Wilson, Microsoft Scripting Guy, presents a video to talk about Windows PowerShell 5.0 class inheritance and property overrides.

Microsoft Scripting Guy, Ed Wilson, is here. This weekend, the Scripting Wife and I went to the air show in Tampa, and it was awesome. Today, we decided to head to the Magic Kingdom at Disney World. It is a lot of fun, and it is a beautiful day to celebrate a birthday. Before we head out, however, I want to share a video I made where I talk a little bit about class inheritance in Windows PowerShell 5.0.

Note  For more information about class inheritance and property override in Windows PowerShell 5.0, see Overriding Inheritance in PowerShell 5 Classes.

In today's video, I talk about creating base classes in Windows PowerShell 5, inheriting from those classes, and then overriding properties that are inherited from those classes.

Well, we are off to see a mouse. I hope you have a wonderful day, and I will see you back here tomorrow.

I invite you to follow me on Twitter and Facebook. If you have any questions, send email to me at scripter@microsoft.com, or post your questions on the Official Scripting Guys Forum. See you tomorrow. Until then, peace.
